Kamp is Melbourne’s newest LGBT event.

Kamp is Melbourne’s newest LGBT event. Dance, DJ’s Drag!

A night of pop music, dance, drag shows and laughs. Born out of the need to bring back the “camp” to being queer, Kamp is creating a safe, fun place, to dance to a mixture of pop music while supporting local talent. Hosted by the fabulous Regina Rimswell, who is a local drag from the suburbs, Kamp promises to be a place that everyone will enjoy.

The DJ’s are local to Melbourne. Residents DJ Jake and DJ Steve have the experience of years behind them but still know how to connect to the crowd. Playing a mixture of pop, R&B, dance, camp and requests. Guest local DJ’s will join our residents on monthly theme nights along with Drag acts new to the industry.
Kamp is held every Thursday night at Club London, which has been recently renovated. Club London is situated in St Kilda at 11 Fitzroy st and features an open dance floor, new lighting, two bars, quiet cocktail foyer lounge and two VIP areas.

Kamp is open every week from Thursday January 2nd for our pre-launch. During this phase Kamp will hold regular nights with Drags and DJ’s. The first theme night is the Grand opening on Thursday January 30th and features K-drag. K-drag is our talent quest as we search for talented drag queens, drag kings and drag acts.
On offer is hundreds of dollars in prizes plus a paid regular spot at Kamp.
