Come out in style and celebrate NYE2013 smack-BANG in the middle of all the fireworks action on Sydney Harbour!

This year marks the fourth annual return of this sparkling Gay and Lesbian fireworks event to the Museum of Contemporary Art. It’s spacious, glamorous, stylish and maintained to a standard that every gay man and woman would expect.

The event is an all-inclusive, fabulously exclusive, wonderfully private party in exuberant Points of Difference Events style, presented in partnership with Gaydar.com.au. This year will be our biggest and best event yet! 

Billed as a special party for grown-up gays, lesbians and their friends, it sits on top of the newly constructed rooftop Sculpture Terrace. Being even closer to the action than in previous years, there really is no better vantage point. 

DJ talent will be delivered by the super superb and gorgeous Mark Alsop. Mark is a community stalwart who consistently delivers across a huge range of events. Recently he has been developing a cool cocktail sound, his “Splashback” series, which guests will be able to enjoy on the night.

Last year’s event sold out 2 weeks prior to the night. This year, the first allocation of tickets has already sold out ahead of schedule and there are now less than 140 tickets left. Demand can only increase the closer to New Year, so don’t delay!

Adam Bold, founding director of Points of Difference Events is very excited with the development of their New Year’s Eve party, CELEBRATION high above the maddening crowds at Circular Quay.

“As an established event on the Gay festive calendar, this party is now the number one destination event for GLBTQI New Year’s Eve in Sydney! Not only due to the location and the AMAZING view, but also due to the wonderful group of guests we have” says Adam. “This year’s guest list is swelling with international sales and we look forward to welcoming groups from Italy, California, Shanghai, Ireland, Maryland, Colorado, Florida, London, Norway, and a large group from Perth! There is even a group coming from Moscow that want to talk to me about a drag performance. I might need to explain that there is already plenty of entertainment in the room, just from the guest interactions!”

“As a further development this year, we have moved our party into the new Sculpture Terrace, which unlike other rooms at the MCA, has an unobstructed 270 degree view of both the Bridge and the Opera House” smiles Adam.

Guests are required to dress up and dress well for the event, with the dress code billed as “Smart Gay Lounge” in Black, Gold, and Pink.  Think classic lines, but dress for a stylish and sensible Sydney summer.  Suits are sexy, chic and glamorous and cocktail dresses flow like the bubbles in your glass!
