Harbour Party is only just getting started....

Harbour
Party is a friendly, inclusive, uplifting, boutique dance-party for
LGBTQI and their friends. Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras CEO, Michael
Rolik, says the team have listened to feedback from
their passionate party-goers and are ready to deliver. “The line-up
speaks for itself. We’ve repositioned the stage to maximize the view of
the stunning harbour and make sure no sound gets lost in the crowd.
Mardi Gras is a busy time of year for the community and we want Harbour
Party to be accessible to everyone so we’ve introduced a more
affordable ticketing structure.”
"Harbour
Party is a truly spectacular annual event for us, and we've worked hard
to ensure that the 2015 edition will be the best ever,” says Rolik.
Diverse, sexy and bursting with energy, there are few parties quite like the Harbour Party, set
alongside the most beautiful harbour in the
world. Sip cocktails in the new cocktail bar as the sun sets, as the
lights shimmer over the water, then dance the night away in the open-air
setting with 3,000 of your new best friends.
Don't miss out on this joyous, loud and proud, hands in the air affair.

DJ Kitty Glitter
After
a sparkling career performing in drag shows & winning the DIVA
award for Sydney’s Favorite Drag Queen in 2006, this feisty feline
made the perfect transition from glamorous showgirl to superstar DJ
KITTY GLITTER! There was no surprise she took out the award for Sydney’s
Favorite DJ in 2007, and again every year since! Most loved for her
vocal house/remixed pop sets, her unique style
and uplifting energy behind the decks radiates across every dancefloor
she plays on. A crowd favourite for events across Australia including
Sydney Mardi Gras, Kitty’s demand is also growing internationally. So
far, she has sprinkled her glitter on dancefloors
in New Zealand, Noumea, New York, Fire Island, Las Vegas, Los Angeles,
Toronto, Vancouver, Singapore, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Amsterdam
and Italy, playing alongside such greats as The Freemasons, Tony Moran,
Offer Nissim & Wayne G. In 2012, Kitty was
honoured to be invited by Lady Gaga to play at a private 4th of July
party during her Born This Way Ball tour in Melbourne! With such a
glittering journey already and fans around the world scratching for
more, it’s exciting to know that Kitty promises – the
best is yet to come! “Unlike any DJ appearance I’ve ever experienced,
Kitty’s debut in the Pines took Fire Island by an unparalleled storm of
excitement. The electricity and energy nearly shook the Pavilion off its
foundations. The crowds are still asking when
Ms. Glitter will come back to share her light, vibes, and fireworks
with the masses. A supernova is born, and the nightlife landscape will
never be the same.” -Vance Garrett (2010 Entertainment Director of Fire
Island Pines, Director of Black Party and Vance
Garrett Productions, New York)
Dan Murphy
There
are two Dan Murphy’s in Australia. One is full of super-cheap booze,
and the other is a discount liquor chain. We’re lucky enough
to get the one that can play music. Dan started his career selling
Chupa Chups and glowsticks in Heaven nightclub in London. A friend
showed him how to DJ and he moved back to Sydney and played his first
Mardi Gras party in 2004 after winning the DJ spinoff
competition. Since then he’s played all over the world including
opening for acts like George Michael, Kylie Minogue and David Guetta as
well as in the studio remixing Olivia Newton-John. Hobbies include
name-dropping and sun-tanning. He’s also made several
videos for Mardi Gras which have been shared around the world by Kylie
& Dannii Minogue, Lady Gaga and Cher. For the 2015 season Dan has
some great new remixes and original tracks planned, as well as loads of
favourite anthems. It’ll be hands-in-the-air all
the way!
